Love Bites - Valentine’s Dining in San Antonio

For your true love, a valentine’s dinner that’s tried and true or something new? Love never tasted so good - dine your heart out at these romantic San Antonio restaurants.

Signature

San Antonio native and celebrated chef and restaurateur Andrew Weissman’s brand new restaurant, Signature brings classic cuisine with the elevated taste he’s known for to the La Cantera Resort & Spa. Housed in a re-designed vintage building, Signature is outfitted with reclaimed Longleaf, pine floor salvaged from the Joske's department store building, antique French and Texas furniture, furnishings by local artisans, touches of taxidermy and custom Mission tile.

The perfect setting for French cuisine with South Texas influences, go all out with indulgent and luxe dishes like seared Foie gras with caramelized apple and blood orange gastrique, 24 karat gold risotto, crispy veal sweet breads with wild mushrooms, and millionaire potatoes. For the sweets lover, try the Paris-Brest, a lush praline cream, crushed chocolate flakes and sugar nails.

As gracious as the interior is with its stately fireplace and imported French mantle, consider a stroll around the grounds if the weather is right. You’ll find a landscape full of heady lavender, earthy rosemary and other herbs integral to the kitchen’s wizardry, native plants and vine-wrapped pergolas in a Hill Country setting. 16401 La Cantera Pkwy, San Antonio, TX 78256 La Cantera Resort & Spa 210-247-0176
